BREAKING: Sen. Chimaroke Nnamani pays the WAEC fees of All Female Students in Enugu East Senatorial Zone.
In fulfilment of the promise of His Excellency, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani to sponsor the 2020 WAEC registration fee of all the female WASSCE candidates in Enugu East Senatorial District, bank drafts have been raised in favour of WAEC to that effect. Total number of beneficiary schools -68. Total number of Bank Drafts raised-68. Total number of female candidates in the 68 schools-3,991. Cost of WAEC registration for each candidate-N13, 950.00. Total amount spent on the registration fee -Fifty Five Million, Six Hundred and Seventy Four Thousand, Four Hundred and Fifty Naira(N55, 674,450).
The 68 Bank Drafts for the school were submitted to the WAEC, Enugu Zonal Office On 23 January 2020. The Zonal Coordinator, Mrs Agwu, directed her team to go ahead and generate pins for the enlisted candidates.
So far, many of the principals of the beneficiary schools have collected photocopies of the bank drafts for their schools to confirm that the payment has been made.
They expressed their gratitude to His Excellency for his benevolence. Photocopies of the Bank Drafts and the school lists to be submitted to PPSMB tomorrow.
