CAN responds to report of Enugu government fabricating an Islamic Center in the State

CAN Enugu StateThe Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Enugu Chapter, has exposed a report which expressed they blamed the Enugu state government for building an Islamic Center at Uwani, Enugu, depicting such a report as "bogus and deceiving."

The online networking space as of late has been covered with unverified reports that the administration was going to raise an Islamic Worship Center for Muslims.

Yet, CAN has now affirmed that no such venture is progressing on any area in the state.

In an announcement by the State Secretary of CAN, Apostle Dr. Joseph Ajujungwa, the Christian body uncovered that the state government "as of late endorsed to construct a Chapel of Worship at the Government House, Enugu, not an Islamic Center, as being underhandedly hawked via web-based networking media".

Witness Ajujungwa expressed that "CAN is content with Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for being the primary legislative leader of the state to develop a Center of Christian love inside the Government House, Enugu."

He focused on that "the accomplishment is evidence that he is a valid and submitted Christian who serves God loyally."

The CAN State Secretary cautioned, "those behind this phony news to cease from such acts that could partition us, by spreading bits of gossip that are bogus"
