Esutgist Exclusive Interview With Wizard, (ESUT SUG President)

Udo Omeoga: Thanks for honouring the invite. It's good to have you here!

Wizard: Alright am well pleased to be here

Udo Omeoga:  Congrats on your new position I mean,  the SUG President-elect is not an easy feat,  how do you feel about it?

Wizard: First of all I want  to thank God for making it possible and giving me the privilege to be the SUG president of this great institution not that  am  the best but the grace of God found me
        I  feel so  happy and delighted  it was never easy to be sincere but thanks to God it ended in praise and also for   the students who put their trust in me  by electing me . I  say thanks I  promise that  by the special grace of God that  Esut will be taken to the next level and  The students opinion will be heard
   And to the school management i say thank you for conducting a free and fair election

Udo Omeoga: What can you say or what factors do you think contributed to your success?

Wizard: First I will say it's God Almighty.
Secondly the love from my co-student,they believed and gave me their vote


Udo Omeoga: Did you at any point in time feel you were going to lose?


Wizard: Yes
Considering my opponents

Udo Omeoga: Oh yes. You did have a strong opponents! But thank God for victory

What can you say made you purchase the form?  what part of the system pushed you to contest for this post? I mean I believe you had things in mind that made you  go for it,  what was that particular thing,   the most pressing of them

Wizard: Right from time I have loved civil engineering and politic
I have been in different positions since my 2nd year as an Esut student and its been very challenging and wish  I could  do more for Esut in general that's what actually made me purchase the form


Udo Omeoga: So you didn't have any particular problem in mind that the university is facing that made you feel like once you step into this position, you will Change for good??

Wizard: As we all know Esut has many problem but with my position as the SUG,we will try our best to solve many as possible

Udo Omeoga:D o you think this lockdown has affected your plans for the school and how?

Wizard: Yes
I had great plans for the school(Esut) at large
Is there in my agenda
I had great plans for Esut students
But due to the lockdown I have not been able to do most of them


Udo Omeoga: Since majority of the students are Enugu residents, are there any plans to share palliatives to them during this lock down?


Wizard: We are currently on that by next week or so you guys will hear from us


Udo Omeoga: Now this is going to be fun, I'll be asking you some personal questions and you have to be honest about it.


Udo Omeoga: You study civil engineering, is that what you always wanted and what made you choose it?

Wizard: Yes It is what i choose    because civil engineering has always  been my dream course,  I found passion in it since I was in junior secondary, and  civil engineering as a course is mainly centered on creativity and  building of new structures, which always has been my dream I always wish to create and impact into peoples life
     That's the main reason I went for civil engineering


Udo Omeoga: Asides being a student, is there any other thing you do?

Wizard: I worked as an NGO non governmental organization , and also an ICT Manager at Christ- Tech Computer School finally a business man thank you

Udo Omeoga: Which ESUT girl do you like the most and why? 😊

Wizard: My vice President
She is humble and respectful

Udo Omeoga: What's your annoying habit?

Wizard: Always smiling
Sometimes even when you are saying something serious
But it doesn't mean am not paying attention


Udo Omeoga: How would someone get your attention?

Wizard: I respect  character a lot  and hard work
